Itinerary
Ceremony starts at 12:30 December 5th 2009 at Malvern arena in Scarborough.
Introduction of Pipes player / Queens Own Riffle Regiment 2881 Cadet Core
Playing of Bag Pipes while QORR Cadet Core enters arena with Canadian Flags
Introduction of player to say prayer / poem (Tori R)
Reading of a pray & poem for the troops
Introduction of guests and team Captains
Ceremonial puck drop
Introduction of Referee & linesperson
Introduction of starting line ups and then teams
National Anthem sung by Second LT.Scott Newlan
The ceremonies and game will be recorded for our troops. The price of admission for this event will be a Christmas card to our troops from each family attending and 1 from each team attending.
Our team will be playing a team from Belleville that has several family members that are members of our Armed Forces that will be coming to the game in full dress.
