PEAK INDUSTRIAL ATOM A BEARCATS TAKE GOLD

The Peak Industrial Atom A Belleville Bearcats won gold this past weekend in the Belleville Bearcats New Years Classic hockey tournament with an exciting 1-0 victory in the final over the Waterloo Ravens.

Taylor #12 notched the game's only goal from Adelyn #2 and Makenna #7.  Alysha #1 posted her 3rd consecutive shutout in the victory.

The Bearcats opened the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Waterloo and then turned things around with 3 straight wins to make it to the finals. The Bearcats beat Kingston 6-0 and Kanata twice by a score of 7-0. Tournament scorers included Adelyn #2 - 2 A, Sarah #3 - 2 A, Megie #4 - 1 A, Victoria #5 - 7 G, 4 A, Makenna #7 - 1 G, 3 A, Kayla #8 - 2 G, 1 A, Lindsay #9 - 3 G, 2 A, Taylor #12 - 2 G, 2 A, Hannah #14 - 2 A, Braedyn #15 - 2 A, Carissa #18 - 1 G, 1 A and Jocelyn #16 -  2 G, 7 A.
