The girls were surprised by their coaches, managers, and parents after their last practice with the announcement that they had been selected as winners in the contest.
Winning teams will be featured on the pre-game show, Scotiabank Hockey Tonight, before introducing Canada’s #1 hockey broadcast, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, to millions of hockey fans across the country. Winning teams will be videotaped and photographed announcing Hockey Night in Canada at your local rink to appear on television.

The team celebrated with Ice cream cake and now look forward to being filmed by CBC on February 24th at the Yardmen arena.
They will be featured on the March 6th broadcast of the Toronto Maple Leafs vs Ottawa Senators game.
