This page will be dedicated to alumni of the Belleville Bearcats who have gone on to successful hockey careers.

Christina Ashley, who played her last season as a Bearcat in 2005-06, spent the 2009-10 season in Sweden playing in the Damserien for the elite Sundsvall Wildcats.  They were the top Swedish team, and she had the opportunity to play alongside some of the Swedish Olympic team players.  She was one of the top points earners, as well as recording some of the highest minutes played.  Christina will be returning to Mount Allison University, where she hopes to be returning to the Mounties Women's Hockey team.
                                   

Breanne Hadley a former Bearcat has signed to join the UOIT Ridgebacks for the 2008-2009 season, after playing for the Toronto Aeros Intermediate AA team last season.

Jackie Jarrell a former Bearcat and alumni of Mercyhurst College women's hockey was chosen to play on the
2008 Canadian Women's National Inline Hockey Team.
Jackie was a member of the silver medalist 2010 Canadian Women's National Inline Hockey Team.  She earned tournament MVP and all star honours.

Erika Shaubel has committed to play for the Women's Hockey team of Plattsburgh State University College for the 2008-2009 season.

Jessica Jones will be playing for Mercyhurst College for the 2008-2009 season.  She also scored one of the two Canadian goals in the 2008 IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship game where the Canada’s National Women’s Under-18 Team won the silver medal.

Laura Martindale a former Bearcat  will be entering her second year at Princeton this fall under full scholarship. In 2007 her midget AA team won bronze at the Ontario Winter games.  She was also a member of team Ontario that won gold at the 2007 Canada WInter games, as well as being a member of the National U-18 team that year.

Jami Adams,
who played for Team Canada in the World Ball Hockey Championships in 2007 in Germany, was picked up by the Toronto Crush team this year to play in the Canadian National Championships in Vancouver.  The team won the silver medal in the tournament.
She has once again been chosen to compete with Team Canada at the World Ball Hockey Championships in the Czech Republic, in June 2009.  This is her second appearance on Team Canada.
