2009 Belleville Bearcats New Years Classic

The Belleville Girls Hockey Annual Hockey tournament took place on January 9, 10, 11 2009 with 67 teams attending from across Ontario and from New York State. Competitive age divisions from Atom to Senior participated with Belleville having representation in 8 of the 13 divisions that were competing. This year’s tournament was just as successful as the past, with all money received and raised from the 3 day event going again to the association’s shrinking debt with the City. With so many teams attending this year we had to host games in all 4 Belleville rinks as well as the RCAF and Frankford arenas.
