    The Oasis Grocery and Gas is a full service gas station, convenience store, and gift shop, located in picturesque Frankford, Ontario. “The Oasis”, as it’s called by locals, has been a family run business since 1957, offering friendly and good old fashioned service with a smile! Owners Jim and Kayla Forbes love that “The Oasis” has become a part of Frankford’s history, and have many stories, photos, and memories to share from over the years. For instance, at one point “The Oasis” even had it’s own zoo, complete with two bears, Yogi and Barney! Not many gas stations can claim that! Although the animals are long gone, “The Oasis” still remains, with one of its main attractions these days being the gift shop, “Kaycee’s Nook“, located inside.
