Bearcats Women's Day in Hockey Events
Patenaude Martial Arts Belleville Bantam AA Bearcats celebrated girls hockey day with a game against the Peterborough Ice Kats on Saturday. After having met in three tight contests previous the game had a rivalry feeling from the puck drop. With end to end action, great chances and amazing saves from both teams it was a scoreless game going into the third period. Peterborough found the back of the net first early in the third making the Bearcats play with a different intensity. With a woman in the box for Peterborough the Bearcats pounced on the opportunity with a top shelf goal from Jocelyn Masters on the point, assist going to Kaya Brahaney.

Both teams played hard trying to break the tie but each skated away with a point on the day. The remainder of the day was celebrated with a great meet and greet session with 3x Olympian Sami Jo Small and finished the evening watching the Belleville Sens game.
