REVISED - Bearcat Shutdown due to increase cases of COVID in our area and surrounding areas
Submitted By Lynn Thibedeau on Friday, December 17, 2021
REVISED UPDATE:   The Bearcat executive has spent most of the weekend reviewing other organizations and has decided to revise our shutdown dates...

REVISED: Due to the increase in Covid numbers in our community and surrounding areas the Belleville District Girls Minor Hockey Association Board has decided to shutdown from December 18, 2021 until January 1, 2022 inclusive.

All games (home and away), practises and any other off ice events for all Bearcat teams are cancelled effective December 18, 2021 until Saturday January 1, 2022 inclusive, at which time the board will re-evaluate the situation.
We don't take this decision lightly.  We are doing this for the health and safety of all our Bearcat players and their families.

We have also cancelled our annual "New Year Classic" Jan 7, 8, 9, 2022.  We felt having 70 teams and families coming into our area was not a good idea at this time.

We wish you all a safe healthy and happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you in the rink soon.
