Belleville Bearcats Sweep Round # 1 vs Whitby Wolves
U13A Amos Earth Products Belleville Bearcats advance to Round #2 with back to back shutouts vs the Whitby Wolves.
Game # 1 in Belleville on Thursday night was a tight checking game until Averie Cole opening the scoring in the 2nd period, Hope McMaster made key saves throughout the game to earn the shutout, Callie Lyall would score the empty net goal for a 2 - 0 win!
Game # 2 in Whitby Friday night was more of the same as the Bearcats would score twice to earn another 2 - 0 win! Averie Cole & Naylan Capellan would score for the Bearcats & Madison Taft was solid in net for the Shutout.
Round # 2 is set for the Southern League East Division Championship. Peterborough Ice Kats (1) vs Belleville Bearcats (2)
