Dan Davies

Dan played his minor hockey in Wellington and Junior career for the Wellington Dukes.  Dan has Boy/Girl twins that have now graduated from Minor hockey, daughter Sydney played in the Bearcat organization.  Dan has had success at the coaching level for rep boys in Prince Edward County including winning 1 OMHA championship, and finalist in 2 others, as well as winning the Bell Capital Cup. In Girls’ hockey, Dan has been an Asst coach at the Midget AA level in West Northumberland and 1 year coaching within the Bearcats association. Dan also coached both boys and girls youth soccer for many years.
Dan is a firm believer in creating a positive environment that allows players to be creative while teaching skills that will result in success at the personal and team level.
He is looking forward to helping Mike next year with the development of the Midget AA players.×

Randy Uens

Randy Uens has an extensive history of playing and coaching hockey from the youngest of ages to professional hockey. Randy has been actively involved with both boys AAA hockey as well as Girls AA hockey with a successful record of moving a number of athletes on to PWHL, NCAA, U Sports and OHL .Randy’s role with the Wellington Dukes has opened up tremendous insight into both the NCAA and USports student athlete pathway for both male and female athletes. His personal experience of guiding his own two children through the process will be invaluable for our group. His Daughter Zoe just completed her first year of NCAA hockey at Quinnipiac and his son just completed his first season of pro hockey in the Florida Panthers organization after a successful NCAA career. Randy is a Hockey Canada HP1 Certified coach with over 25 years of skill development experience  from working with youth teams and various hockey schools and development camps such as Can Am Hockey Development, Pro Hockey Development and the U16 OHL Development Camp×

Jeremy Benoit

BKIN, CSCS - The brains behind the development 

Entering his 2nd season as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. He is in charge of day-to-day programming, communication with team doctors, sports coaches, and medical staff as well as coordinating sports science to track performance, readiness, and injury prevention metrics throughout the year. Additionally, he is a member of the Senator’s development staff where he is tasked with monitoring and guiding all the prospects within the Senators organization with all health and performance protocols. Prior to this, Jeremy made Belleville home for 4 years while working as the Head of Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Belleville Senators Hockey club. Jeremy has become a leader in high-performance training and development for athletes within the community, nationally, and across the border. Jeremy believes in all athletes having creativity and detail to their craft while encouraging them to have a well-rounded approach by investing in their many “buckets”. ×

Tom Crowhurst

BPHE, CSCS – The boots on the ground 

Tom has been a strength and conditioning coach, working alongside Jeremy Benoit and challenging youth and professional athletes in the area since 2018. Tom is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Wellington Dukes and several other teams in the region. Tom is passionate, charismatic and loves taking his experiences from his educational/wellness background to create lifelong learning opportunities for all athletes that enter the gym. Tom brings with him years of dedicated research into the advancement of his athletes and vast experience collaborating with elite-level therapists across the province. His ability to leave no stone unturned helps give athletes the confidence they are supported the whole way. Tom’s wide range of experience has created his core motivation of having realistic but challenging daily habits that support an athlete’s physical and mental health for long-term career success. He is constantly researching and creating new and creative training methods to ensure our athletes gain not only top performance but love for training.  ×
