For those families seeking assistance with the cost of
REGISTRATION there are multiple programs available.
We have listed several resources here for you to access.
Quinte Children's Foundation
TCF strives to give all children and youth the opportunity to experience the fun of being a child and not be excluded from the activities their friends are enjoying. The Playing for Keeps program helps to pay registration fees (up to $600 per child per year for the 2023 year) for families who may not otherwise be able to.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart
The vision of Jumpstart is simple: Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams.
Jumpstart is a national charity with a commitment to local communities. Organized sports connect kids to their communities. Canadian Tire Corporation recognized this and makes sure that money raised stays where it is donated. Canadian Tire Corporation is Jumpstart’s biggest supporter as it funds all the general administrative expenses of Jumpstart, which means 100% of customer donations go directly to help kids in need.

Hockey Canada Assist Fund
The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund was created in response to the many families experiencing financial challenges. The goal of the Fund is to help Canadian youth access hockey and play the game they love.
The Assist Fund will provide up to $500 per player in registration fee subsidies to approved applicants who are registered with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned association.
There are moments that define us. That define Canada. That touch the essence of what it means to be Canadian. Pulling a hockey sweater over our head. Tightening the laces on a child’s skates. A first goal, arms raised in celebration. A medal. A moment. An ASSIST.

KidSport
The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian kids out of organized sport, especially kids from marginalized or remote communities. That’s where KidSport comes in. Through a confidential application process, we provide grants of between $250 - $500 to help cover sport registration and equipment costs so that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport.
