Exciting Start to the Season: Bearcats Triumph 4-1 Over Flames in Thrilling Opener
We're thrilled to kick off the 23/24 OWHA season with an impressive 4-1 win in our opening game against the Clarington Flames on their home turf! The game started with Clarington taking an early lead, but our Bearcats responded emphatically, ensuring the first period ended with the score tied at 1-1.As the game progressed, our Bearcats took control, seizing a 2-1 lead with a power-play goal midway through the second period. Our determination and teamwork were on full display as we struck again early in the third period, extending our lead. The victory was sealed with a late empty-net goal, securing a final score of 4-1 in our favor. This win was the result of an outstanding team effort, and we couldn't be prouder of our players for their hard work and dedication on the ice. Here's to an exciting season ahead, filled with more victories and memorable moments. Go Bearcats! 💪🏒🎉
