U13 AA Belleville Bearcats ... on to Round 2!!
The Belleville Bearcats U13 AA team blazed into playoff action, igniting the ice with their fiery performance!In their first round, they faced off against tough opponents, leaving no doubt about their prowess.
Game 1 saw a nail-biting showdown against the Clarington Flames, culminating in a triumphant 3-1 victory, fueled by goals of the trio of Lyall, Thompson, and Capellan supported by Foley and Hunter.
Game 2 witnessed a dominant display as they conquered the Oshawa Lady Generals with a commanding 3-1 win, showcasing goals from Wilman, Thompson, and Lyall and assists from Hunter, Lavender and Harker.
On the road for game three, the Bearcats out-maneuvered the Kingston Ice Wolves, clinching a thrilling 4-2 win with goals from Little, Courtney, Lyall, and Thompson and assists from Harker, Thompson, Foley, McComb and Lyall.
Returning home for game 4, they rallied against Clarington Flames once more, seizing a hard-fought 3-2 victory with Lavender, Capellan, and Thompson leading the charge supported by Little, Thompson and Lyall.
In a must-win game 5, the Bearcats battled fiercely against the Kingston Ice Wolves, securing a breathtaking 3-2 win in the dying moments of the match, ensuring their passage to the next round. Game winner scored by Courtney with 54 seconds left in the play. Other goals scored by Little and Thompson with assists from Lavender, McComb and Harker.
A special mention to goalies Taft and McMaster for their outstanding performances between the posts, and to every team member whose teamwork and dedication fueled the team's success.
