Unfortunate Fall for the Playoffs
Patenaude Martial Arts Bantam AA Bearcats dropped the final two very physical games to the Kingston Ice Wolves with final scores of 3-0 each game to be eliminated from playoffs. The Bearcats matched the Ice Wolves strength, speed and intensity but could not get one past the netminders. Diana Wharton and Addison Cochrane turned away a combined fifty-four shots on the weekend for the Bearcats and came up with some nifty saves to keep the Bearcats chances alive.

Although being knocked out of playoffs the girls can keep their heads held high after playing an amazing series with some stellar passing, hard forechecking and solid defensive play. Next up for the Bearcats is the Bolts and Hearts tournament Family Day weekend in Pickering and then onto Playdowns against the Ice Kats. Let the battle of the claws begin Friday, February 21 st in Peterborough. Go Bearcats.
