What A Great Start Bearcats!
Congratulations to the U11BB team for their first win of the
2021-2022 hockey season. The Belleville Bearcats team played Clarington Flames
at the South Courtice Arena and came away with a 5-1 victory.
It was a slow start for the Bearcats trailing 1-0 in the first period. Then in the second period, Georgia Baker got the Bearcats on the board by a great effort by Lila Ousterhout with the assist. The game winning goal came from Naylan Capellan. She pinched in on defense and scored her first goal as a Bearcat. The Bearcats scoring was finished with Kendyl Hunter adding 2 goals and Audrey Harker with 1 goal. Assist came from Kylan Courtney, Georgia Baker and Clair Lavender. The Belleville Bearcats U11BB first home game is Friday November 5th at 6:30pm at the Wally Dever arena. Come on out and support your local Bearcats.
