Seniors Punch Ticket to Provincial Championships
In a four-way battle for three slots, The Build-All Senior Bearcats clinched their spot for the Provincial Championships capping off their playdowns this weekend - securing first place in Region E.

February 3rd - Seniors v. Cobourg Senior Ladies
Belleville 6 - Cobourg 1

February 16th - Seniors @ Peterborough Ice Kats

February 24th - Seniors vs. West Northumberland Wild

Friday March 1st - Seniors @ Cobourg Senior Ladies

Friday's game saw a special teams battle that ended in a 1-1 draw, with Cobourg tying the game with 1 second left in the third period. Belleville's lone goal was scored by Emma Dever, assisted by Hailey Robinson and Steph Burridge. The one point accrued, secured Belleville a spot in Championship Weekend after previously picking up wins against Cobourg and West Northumberland. 

Saturday, March 2nd - Seniors vs. Peterborough Ice Kats
Belleville 2 - Peterborough 0

After four solid games between the two teams this season, Saturday saw Belleville tie up the season series with each team having two wins and a tie. Maddy Rowbotham was lights out in net for Belleville while Kellee Smith (shorthanded) and Emma Dever (on the man-advantage) powered the offence with a goal a piece. Smith and Hannah Wilson picked up assists. 

Sunday, March 3rd - Seniors @ West Northumberland Wild
Belleville 3 - Cobourg 2

Capping off the playdown series, Belleville secured the first seed with a win over West Northumberland. Emma Dever, Samm Fry and Hailey Robinson tallied for Belleville, while Dever, Rachel Cole, Hailey Snider and Erin Cassibo added the Belleville assists. Maddy Rowbotham turned away 18 of 20 West Northumberland shots in net. 

With this, The Seniors punch their ticket to Provincial Championship Weekend to be held April 12-14 in the GTA.
